Mercedes Benz W123 Airride

A 1985 Mercedes Benz W123 was modified with AIRBFT AIRRIDE KIT, with the chassis directly attached to the ground. The car’s paint was polished clean by the owner, leaving only a rusty appearance. However, it was revived like life, and the rusty body looked more like it was from the 1980s.

The Mercedes Benz W123 is an executive class sedan produced by the German company Mercedes Benz from November 1975 to January 1986, and is the fourth generation Mercedes Benz E-Class.
Here is a detailed introduction:

Production and sales: The production locations include Sindelfingen, Stuttgart, Bremen, and other places in Germany, as well as assembly in countries such as South Africa, China, and Thailand. Approximately 2.697 million vehicles were produced in this series, including 2.375 million four door sedans, 99900 two door coupes, 199500 wagon versions, and 13700 extended versions.

Model Design: Designed by Bruno Sacco, with a design inspired by the W116 S-Class. The body lines are straight, and the headlights are rectangular. In the early stage, the low-end model had double circular lights with rectangular lampshades, while the high-end model had rectangular headlights. The taillights were glass lampshades with horizontal decorative strips. The body structure is rich, with various derivative models such as the two door coupe C123, the wagon S123, and the long wheelbase V123.

Technical configuration: Equipped with a safe steering column that can collapse in the event of a collision. ABS and side airbags can be optionally installed in later versions.

Power system: There are multiple engine options available, ranging from 2.0L to 3.0L gasoline and diesel engines, including approximately 11 models of four cylinder, five cylinder, and six cylinder engines. Among them, the 300D version equipped with a 3.0L five cylinder diesel engine is the most popular and durable.

Origin with China: In 1984, FAW collaborated with Mercedes Benz to assemble W123 in CKD mode, producing approximately 1000 vehicles mainly for high specification reception tasks.
