Ford Ranger “Great Helper for Backpack RVs”: AIRBFT4x4 Off road Load Bearing Airbag Kit, Inflates to Level, Heavy Load Will Not Collapse, Off road Travel Will Not Lose.
If you are a Ford Ranger owner who loves deep off-road driving, you must be familiar with these two scenarios——

Carrying the RV and setting off, the rear suspension is significantly lowered due to pressure, causing the front of the car to tilt and the headlights to shine towards the sky. Long distance driving is neither safe nor accelerates the fatigue of the rear axle components; Alternatively, the trunk may be filled with off-road equipment, fuel reserves, and camping supplies, and the rear suspension support may be significantly insufficient, resulting in drifting when cornering, nodding when braking, and difficulty controlling the vehicle’s posture.

For the Ranger with a spring-loaded chassis, AIRBFT4x4 has launched a dedicated off-road load-bearing airbag kit – it does not replace the original suspension structure, but adds an “adjustable support force” to the rear axle, allowing for both heavy-duty and off-road use.
🛠 What can it solve?
✅ Heavy load without collapsing waist: When carrying a caravan or fully loaded off-road equipment, inflate the airbags to help the rear suspension rise to a horizontal position, restore the body posture, and drive more safely;
✅ Stronger off-road passability: the front of the car no longer rises, the approach angle and visibility return to the original factory level, and the off-road passability is significantly improved;
✅ Easy to deflate under light load: deflate during daily no-load operation without affecting the comfort and travel of the original car springs.

🔧 Two core technologies
① High strength rubber airbag, capable of carrying up to 3000kg
Adopting specialized high-strength rubber airbags with a maximum load-bearing capacity of 3000kg, it can handle RV carrying and heavy load loading with ease.
② Up and down split structure, without sacrificing suspension travel
Different from traditional integrated airbags, this kit adopts an upper and lower split structure design – when the vehicle passes through extreme off-road conditions such as cross axles, the airbag will not limit the maximum extension and retraction of the suspension, fully ensuring passability. With airbags added, it’s still the Ranger that can run wild.
In terms of installation, the AIRBFT4x4 has undergone original 3D scanning of the upper and lower connection bases, which matches the original installation position of the Ranger 100%. It does not require cutting, welding, or modification of the original vehicle structure, and can be directly installed, making it simple and fast. Delivery can be completed in just a few hours by modifying the store.
Raise up to carry RVs, travel long distances, and ensure safety; Put it down to play off-road, cross the axle, and maintain the range. This is the ‘rear axle cheat’ that AIRBFT4x4 gives to every Ranger deep off-road player.
