In terms of power, the Aventador LP700-4 is equipped with a new 6.5L V12 engine with a model of L539. This new engine is manually assembled by professional technicians from Sant’Agata Bolognese (Italian: Sant’Agata Bolognese). Each engine is specially tuned to produce a maximum horsepower of 700 horsepower (8250 rpm) and provide a peak torque of 690 Nm (5500 rpm). Aventador is also the first Lamborghini mass production sports car to officially enter the “700 horse club”. The total weight of the Lamborghini Aventador chassis is only 229 kilograms, but its rigidity has reached an astonishing 35000 Nm torsional resistance, which can ensure that the Aventador has unparalleled chassis rigidity at all times. In addition, Aventador’s frame is made of all carbon fiber to reduce weight.
The interior and exterior of Aventador are also filled with a sharp and sci-fi style, with a large number of true line hexagon designs and metal forming a fighter cabin like and full of combat atmosphere. In addition to being equipped with a new engine, the Lamborghini Aventador’s new ISR (Independent Shifting Rods) 7-speed single clutch transmission is also eye-catching. Although the currently popular dual clutch structure is not used, its design is similar to that of a dual clutch gearbox. While one gear lever engages the gears separately, the other gear lever simultaneously engages the gears in place, greatly shortening the shift time. Moreover, under the idea of extreme lightweight, the gearbox has a mass of only 79 kilograms, and it is said that its shift time is 50% faster than the dual clutch gearbox, twice as fast as the E-gear gearbox used by the previous generation Murci é lago. The new engine and gearbox allow Aventador to break 100 in just 2.8 seconds, greatly surpassing many supercars such as Ferrari, Lotus, and Porsche. The extreme speed exceeds 350 km/h.
