The current Ford Ranger pickup truck is its fifth-generation model. The vehicle will be launched in November 2021 and will initially be sold only in markets such as Australia and Southeast Asia. In February 2022, Ford once again launched the Ranger Raptor equipped with a 3.0T twin-turbocharged V6 engine. The engine has a power of 405 horsepower and is matched with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The standard version will be equipped with a 2.3T four-cylinder engine with a power of 270 horsepower. In this fall, Ford will also add a 2.7T V6 engine to the Ranger, which is the same engine as the F-150 and Bronco, with a power of 315 horsepower.
The Ranger Raptor is equipped with an advanced four-wheel drive system and an electronically controlled two-speed transfer case, as well as front and rear differential locks. The new car is equipped with BFGoodrich KO3 all-terrain tires and the rim size is 17 inches. You can also pay extra for optional anti-falling rims. This set of rims can ensure that the wheels will not fall off even when the tire pressure is ultra-low. The Ranger Raptor’s drive modes include Normal, Sport, Slippery, Off-Road, Rock Climb, Tow and Baja. Each mode has different responses to the engine, transmission, traction control, steering and throttle. In addition, the new car’s active valve exhaust system also provides multiple modes, such as quiet, normal, sport and Baja.
In addition to the Ranger Raptor, the configuration levels of the other three models from lowest to highest are XL, XLT, and Lariat. The XL and XLT come with 17-inch wheels, and the Lariat comes with 18-inch wheels. The XL’s front grille is black, while the XLT and Lariat’s grilles have gray accents.
