In 1984, the first Civic Si came out. The main model is the three-door version of the main model, later also launched the three-box version of the five-door. The first Civic Si is powered by a 1.6-l displacement DOHC 4-valve ZC series in-line four-cylinder engine modified from Honda F1, with a maximum power of 135 HP and a maximum torque of 152 nm, along with a 5-speed manual transmission. The 100 km speed is 8.1 seconds, the top speed is 197km/h, and the 0-400 m speed is 16.2 seconds. These figures and results, in the 1980s, would have been astonishing for a small Japanese car.
